Discussion | Discuss the theory of tectonic plates on the earth. Volcanoes form at the junction of plates. Magma is formed in these regions and can make its way to the surface creating volcanic eruptions. Half of the world's volcanoes are located around the Pacific Ring of Fire. Volcanoes and earthquakes both occur around the Ring of Fire. |
