Stratovolcano
Morne Plat Pays Volcano is located in southern Dominica. The volcano contains a caldera which formed 39,000 years ago. Several lava domes are located outside the caldera and one submarine dome south of Scotts Head.
Fumaroles are active at the volcano.
An earthqauke swarm was recorded at Morne Patates Volcano in October 1998.
