Volcanic Field
West Crater Volcano is located in southern Washington. The volcanic field extends from Marble Mountain, north of Swift Reservoir, to south of Trout Creek Hill.
The most recent eruptions 8000 years ago, formed at three vents - West Crater, a small cone at Hackamore Creek, and a phreatic crater at the summit of Bare Mountain.
