Tor Zawar Volcano is located 75 km NE of Quetta.  There is a debate over whether the eruptions in 2010 and 2011 were magmatic or caused by melting of rock by lightning.

Possible eruption in 2011
In January 2011 another small eruption occurred 300 m north of the first eruption.

Possible eruption in 2010
An eruption occurred on 27th January 2010. This was the first recorded eruption of the previously unknown volcano.
