A caldera lake, Maughan, has a diameter of 2 km.
2002 Earthquake
There was an eruption alert at Parker volcano in March 2002 after a magnitude 7.5 earthquake nearby. The earthquake caused a landslide into Lake Maughan, which released water, destroying 33 houses.
