Stratovolcano
Oshima-Oshima volcano is a small 4 km wide island located 55 km from Hokkiado in northern Japan.
An eruption in 1741 caused a tsunami which killed almost 1500 people.
Earthquakes and tremor were recorded at the volcano in 1996.
