Stratovolcano
Malindig Volcano is located in the south of Marinduque Island, Philippines. Hot springs are located at the western base of the volcano. Malindig volcano contains Biotite-hornblende andesite.
Nearby towns include Bagacay, Lipata, Dampulan, Tigui, Malibago, and Sihi. A magnitude 5.0 earthquake hit under the volcano on 27th January 2014.
