Maar
Laguna Jayu Khota Volcano is located in the Central Altiplano of Bolivia. It is composed of two maars, which were originally classified as meteorite impact craters. Nekhe Khota maar lies to the SW of Jayu Khota.
A magnitude 4.8 earthquake hit 30 km north of Laguna Jayu Khota Volcano on 22nd November 2012.
