Stratovolcano
Isarog volcano is located east of Naga city, in SE Luzon, Philippines. It is part of Bicol Volcanic Chain. The volcano contains solfatara and hot springs.
1915 Earthquakes
On the 8th of November, 1915, frequent earthquakes were felt on and around Isarog volcano, with some occasional noises. Landslides occurred the slopes of the volcano. The seismic unrest repeated itself two or three times at long
intervals until the 10th of January, 1916. The volcano was thickly wooded, even inside of the crater, and
nobody observed any fumaroles.
