Imuruk Lake Volcano is located in central Seward Peninsula north of the Bendeleben Mountains. It is situated in northcentral
Seward Peninsula, 100 miles northeast of Nome and 60 miles south of the Arctic Circle.
The volcano contains about 70 vents and lava flows extending as far as 39 km.
The most recent eruption produced Lost Jim lava flow a few thousand years ago.
