Davidof Island is part of the Rat Idandq near the mter of the western half of the Aleatian Islands chain.

The volcano is the remains of a collapsed caldera which was the Aleutian "Krakatoa". The remnant islands also include Khvostof, Pyramid, and Lopy.

Davidof has a very irregular outline and bounded by very steep sea cliffs. The island contains no lakes or streams.
