Corcovado volcano is located in southern Chile. The volcano contains cinder cones and glaciers. A series of lakes are located the eastern side of the volcano.
1834-35 Eruption
The eruption was seen in eruption by Charles Darwin in 1834. It
erupted explosively in November 1835 as reported by a resident of
Chiloe, 60 km west of the volcano.
