Chingo volcano is located on the Guatemala-El Salvador border. Volcán las Viboras, a cinder cone near Laguna Atescatempo.
Eruptions have occurred from flank fissures which have produced lava flows on the western flank of Chingo, and the northern flank of Volcán las Viboras.
