Stratovolcano
Chagulak is a small stratovolcano in central Aleutian Islands.
The volcano has not been well studied.
It is separated from Amukta by 7 km of ocean. A low-potassium, high-alumina basaltic andesite (51% SiO2, 0.59% K2O) was collected from NNW shore of the island.
No recent eruptions.
