Caichinque Volcano is located in northern Chile. The volcano contains a lava flow extending 6 km to the east.

The volcano is situated on the western shore of Salar de Talar, a 46 square kilometres salt flat located in the high puna of northern Chilean Andes. Two lava flows from the Caichinque volcano have advanced into Salar de Talar.

Salar de Capur salt flat is located to the west of the volcano.
