Byrock volcano is located 50 km NNE of Cobar in northwestern NSW half-way between Cobar and Bourke. The Byrock leucitite is found at three locations: Bye Hill, a lava mound 5 sq km in area and 35 m high; and
two smaller outcrops forming low rises to the N and NE.
