Arenales is an isolated volcano in southern Chile. It is 140 km SSW of Hudson volcano, and 195 km north of Lautaro volcano. The volcano was only identified during a 1963 expedition.

A small tephra deposit was observed on an icecap in march 1979, indicating recent eruptions. The eruption occurred at the same time as Lautaro volcano south of Arenales.
