Andrus consists of three volcanoes located in Ames Range of Antarctica. Mount Andrus is the southernmost volcano in the group. The summit of Mount Andrus contains a 4.5-km-wide caldera. Mount Kauffman is the northernmost volcano, and contains 3-km-wide summit caldera.

Fumarolic activity was observed in 1977 at Mount Kauffman.
