Munda

Munda is the largest town on New Georgia Island. The town is a collection of villages that stretch six kilometres along the coast from Ilangana to Kindu. Munda is known for blue and pink orchids. The main village of Munda is Lambete. It is the location of the airport and government offices. Munda contains many WWII relics. These include planes, huts, and transport equipment. Some islands close to Munda are Hombuhombu, Kundukundu, and Kokohle.
