Magma
- John Seach
Magma is a molten
rock generated beneath the earth's surface by melting of the mantle.
Magma erupts
onto the earth's (or other solar system body) surface to produce lava.
Intrusive rocks
are produced when magma cools in the earth's interior.
There are
2 main types of Magma
1) Basaltic
(Basalt and Andesite)
2) Silicic
( Dactite and Rhyolite)
