Kilauea Volcano, Hawaii
Pu'u Halulu is a 20 m high cone formed
during the first 3 months of the Pu'u O'o eruption in 1983.
It was the main vent during episodes
2 and 3 of the eruption, and originally stood 60 m tall.
During episode 49 in 1991 fissures
opened up on the cone.
Pu'u Halulu is located in the middle
east rift zone of Kilauea.
