Pompeii, Triangular Forum - John Seach

The Triangular Forum is a large square surrounded with 95 Ionic columns.
In the centre is the remains of a Doric temple which is a reminder of the contact the Romans had with
the Greek towns in southern Italy. The temple dates back to 6th century BC. The temple was neglected in
the Roman age and had become a simple chapel.
