Pompeii - House of the Centenary

The house derives its name from its discovery date of 1879, 18 centuries after the eruption of Vesuvius.
The walls are decorated with pictures of theatrical subjects. The entrance to the peristyle has emblems
of Juno, Apollo, and Minerva. In the garden is a pool which contained a statue Satyr with Wineskin.
