Buala - John Seach
Santa Isabel Island, Isabel Province, Solomon Islands.

Buala is the capital of Isabel Province. It is located in SE Santa Isabel Island, along the edge of Maringe Lagoon.
The town is bordered in the west by the steep sides of Tirotonga Hill.

Located in Maringe Lagoon are five small islands. 
Fera is the largest island in the lagoon and is connected to a nine kilometre long fringing reef.
Mount Sarari (1120m) is the highest mountain on Santa Isabel Island and is located 4 km inland from Buala.
