Ahus Island - John Seach
Manus Province, Papua New Guinea

Ahus Island is located of the north coast of Manus Island, NW of Lorengau.
Residents of the island have practiced reef conservation for generations.

Six areas of the reef are proteted from spearfishing. 
This has resulted in a greater number of fish compared to nearby islands.
